Midas Construction (Cheshire) was selected to undertake single storey classroom extension in the Cheshire East borough. Having worked with the school before on a number of projects, the Midas team is well acquainted with the client’s needs and how it uses the building to deliver the best teaching and student experience.
The main challenge (as always in this environment) was to ensure minimal, and at times, zero, disruption to the day-to-day operation of the school, whilst ensuring that we could deliver a facility fit for children, parents and staff in the 21st Century. We were also ever mindful of the need to complete projects during school holidays and the necessity of accommodating such requests at a moment’s notice. The critical success factor, as ever, was communication. By maintaining close links with the client at all times, we were able to avoid surprises and head-off any setbacks before they became problems that could jeopardise the deadline or quality of the work.
